Does anyone have any experience with these? I'm trying to decide between Engage and Experience

I have got the experience ones which I used for the first time Saturday night and they were fabulous

toastofthetown · 17/10/2023 17:00

What were the earplugs for Hedgehogs? I've been looking at the Experience ones for a concert next year.

Hillrunning · 17/10/2023 17:01

I use them. Which type really depends on what you want out of them. Isn't there a little quiz on the site that helps you decide?

Flare calmer are amazing if you want to still hear but not be hurt by the noise.

ChickHenLittle · 17/10/2023 17:07

I use Quiet ones for sleeping, they're the best I've ever tried.

DisquietintheRanks · 17/10/2023 17:19

Ds2 has Engage and they've been a real game changer for him, meaning he can now cope with loud restaurants without having to withdraw from the conversation.

Unicorntastic · 17/10/2023 17:20

I have a pair for sleeping and a pair for toning down noise when I’m at soft play or trying to read a book, they are good!

For a concert at a small venue where I knew the music would be too loud for me

Me too. Total game changer. I think my body also associates them with sleep now too so as soon as they're in I'm straight off to sleep.

These keep popping up on my adverts. I think I have audio processing issues, I can’t hear a thing in busy environments even if someone is talking right to me but not sure if they’re worth it/actually work…

Malariahilaria · 17/10/2023 18:41

I have two pairs for night time. Life savers. They're not magical, they're just earplugs really but they fit better than any I've ever had before so worth it for me.

XenoBitch · 17/10/2023 20:46

I have the Quiet ones for when I am some where noisy but don't need to engage with people. They help me focus a lot, and help me feel less anxious too.

EmmaEmerald · 17/10/2023 20:54

I was about to start a thread on earplugs because I was so disappointed in Loop! Clearly I need something much sturdier.

Sleepyteach · 23/10/2023 22:48

I have just seen an advert for these on Facebook and I’m wondering if they might help me, my hearing is at the lower end of normal, and where I struggle most is in noisy environments such as bars and restaurants as I can’t follow conversations, so I’m wondering if the engage ones would help block out some of the background noise and make it easier for me to hear speech. Any experience or advice would be great!

quitefranklyabsurd · 23/10/2023 22:50

I have the engage and they are brilliant. I just at times find everything too loud and they cut things right down but can still communicate and hear people speaking.

i also have the chord too.

IwishIdidntlikesugar · 23/10/2023 23:56

I have quiet and they hurt my ears, even with the smallest ear bits on. I can’t really wear them for more than half an hour. Does everyone else feel them in their ears? I find them so annoying.

WhyDoesItAlways · 24/10/2023 09:48

I have the quiet ones with the smallest buds and barely feel them at all even when sleeping on my side. I have to twist them round so the loop is pointing up towards the top of my ear so they sit nicely.

TheBirdintheCave · 24/10/2023 09:53

I have the ones for sleeping and find them comfortable to wear. They do slip out, though not to the point where they fall out and I can push them back in whilst I'm half asleep now.

My friend uses them for exactly that reason. He says they’re great. He was wearing hearing aids before , and now just uses Loop Engage instead of the hearing aids and is much happier.

I've look for a shop in London which might deal with Loop, but can't didn'tone. Does anyone know of a store or chemist that might have them? TIA

I ordered them via their website. I've never seen them in the shops.
