Has anyone ever used Disneytickets.co.uk

Posting here for traffic, apologies.

Got an awful feeling I may have been scammed :-/

I ordered some Disney on ice 2024 tickets earlier after seeing an advert pop up on the Disney Family Uk Facebook page (has a blue tick) but on doing some further research just now I don't even think the tickets are released for general sale yet - they seem to be pre-sale where you need a code, which I didn't have nor was I asked for.
I can't even find the tickets on the Disneytickets.co.uk site now I've looked again.
Feeling a bit silly and can't rest.

The 2024 tickets are on Feld Entertainment presale atm

Where did you buy them from?

haveibeenscammedd · 17/10/2023 01:16

Disney tickets.co.Uk

I can't find the dates on the website but the link came up from a verified Disney page post....which I also can't see when I look at their page.

All very mysterious but I am feeling a little more relaxed because Disney.co.Uk links you to the website I used for the other shows they have on.

They're rinkside seats which Feld/Ticketmaster don't have available and I placed my order without a pre-order code which is what is making me wary.

Disneytickets just links you to the actual booking agent for the show itself and doesn't list Disney on Ice Worlds of Wonder.

Are you sure you actually went the official site and it wasn't a scam/clone site called Disneyticket . Co . UK or similarly almost identical name?

Have you had an email confirmation and who had it come from?

moominzoomin · 17/10/2023 01:31

Yeah the email confirmation has come from Disneytickets.co.uk

It didn't link me to a booking agent, I just added the tickets to the basket on their website and ordered them.
I have just tried it again for the 100 years of wonder show (I have booked big dreams) and it never redirected me to another booking agent either.
Is it a scam site?
Disney.co.uk definitely links to the same site for their shows too.

The very good seats and the fact you can't get to the link/dates without this elusive Facebook post has me concerned but everything else seems legit now I've looked more...I think

SundayCherry · 17/10/2023 03:04

Think you’ve had a name change fail OP but anyway, it might be worth ringing the venue to check?

frenchiemummy92 · 17/10/2023 04:06

We booked for the Disney on ice this December and it was done through the Disney website which then took us too Ticketmaster.

I'd double check as they aren't cheap!

whytheygetworse · 17/10/2023 11:24

I've also booked through that website today. I got an email to say I was on the priority list (which I did sign up for previously when I booked presale tickets last year). I'm hoping it is legit!!!!

ButWhatAboutTheBees · 17/10/2023 11:51

Hmm looking at it, I'd say that they maybe have their own "bypass" link for presale.

Everything else seems to like to the official seller but Disney on Ice

haveibeenscammedd · 17/10/2023 12:12

I have heard back from Disney On Ice official Facebook page - they told me to check their website help section for preferred ticketing providers and Disney Tickets IS on there so I'm not stressing.

@whytheygetworse sorry if my post worried you I was just so confused when I couldn't get back to the page on their website without a link but the website is linked all over Disneys official site and on Disney on ice preferred providers so 👍🏼 have a great time x

@haveibeenscammedd that's a relief! I didn't think of checking there.

I wonder if Disney gets priority to the seats around the rink because it's their show?

Enjoy!

Yeah that's what I'm thinking because the prerelease tickets on Ticketmaster are in the heavens whereas Disney tickets has good seats available, looks like they may have reserved the best seats for their own site.

Hi there have you got your ticket? I brought them too but I think this is a scam. Googled and found this conversation.
I sent them an email and asked them how do I gain access to my tickets no reply yet.
the venue app in my case should be o2 and they do not appear there since there is no link.
fully believe this is a scam. So annoyed to tell the kids we got scammed.

haveibeenscammedd · 11/12/2023 09:58

@Disneytickets I don't have my tickets yet but the email says they are sent approx 14 days before the show. I think that's pretty normal.

The shows are now showing on their site, I was panicking at the time because it didn't show but think I ordered when it was pre-release.

If you go on Disney.co.uk and then to shows it links to the Disney tickets.co.uk site so I'm pretty confident it is genuine.

I've just received an email today with a PDF of my tickets...show is 2 weeks today! Has anyone been yet with their tickets or am I first to to?

haveibeenscammedd · 10/02/2024 14:52

Our show isn't until the end of March but really glad to hear you've got your tickets emailed through.
Have a great time and let us know how you get on

Hey! @haveibeenscammedd did you get your tickets to your show and everything was fine?
I've just ordered tickets from the same website, same circumstances as you and then I had this feeling of dread that it was a scam because I didn't need to input a presale code either!

haveibeenscammedd · 21/05/2024 14:52

Hey @Bquigley everything was fine with the tickets, they came via email a week or so before the event and no problems.
My only advice is to be prepared to have your pants pulled down by the vendors selling programmes/drinks/snacks/lights!!

Hi, I have came across this thread as I am in the same situation… has everyone that’s posted on here been and their ticket’s turned out legit and ok? Panicking as we go on Sunday and booked via Disney Ticket’s but through a link posted on a verified Disney page on Facebook!

haveibeenscammedd · 03/03/2025 16:01

Hi @LeaH19Gib I have used the website twice for tickets now and no problems at all, tickets from through approx 2 days before, check junk too but sure mine came to inbox. Have a fab time x
