Aibu to stop making a cup of tea for my husband in the mornings?

I get up earlier than he does (me 6am, him 7.20am). I get showered and dressed, then I make us both tea at about 6.30am. He then doesn't drink it as he stays asleep till 7.20am by which time the tea is cold, so he microwaves it. I didn't know this till recently when catastrophe struck 😉 and he broke a mug by microwaving it.

Aibu to stop this madness for the sake of the mugs?

For clarity, he also makes me tea especially on weekends. The mug in question was a reasonably new, allegedly microwave safe mug fro John Lewis

Tomorrow, make his tea in some random tupperware. Definitely microwave save ;)

(I'm a dick about tea, never used to finish a mug. Hubby, for shits & giggles, took to making me tea in an espresso cup)

Don't put it in a thermos. Thermos-tea is not nice.

@Toddlerteaplease He certainly is! It usually works perfectly as I'm just waking up as he's leaving the house, but I miss it when he's early or I'm later, thus the flask. Like a PP it makes me feel very loved

Get a good travel mug, I like one with a metal rim so it doesn't feel plastic when I'm drinking it. Mine will keep tea boiling hot for longer than you need it to.
