Sharp edge on gun following tooth extraction

It’s driving me crazy. Been 48 hours since had back molar tooth out and there is a sharp edge I have cut my tongue on. The after care leaflet says there may be sharp edges but when will this go. It’s driving me insane.

It's most likely a tiny shard of tooth that's working its' way to the surface; it'll drop out very quickly.

I had this. Drove me mad and I kept touching it with my tongue. Eventually it fell out. Does it feel hard like tooth?

Most likely its a sharp bit of bone from the very thin edge of the socket - your gum will spit it out or you can get in there with some tweezers if you're brave (be warned, sometimes they are NOT that tiny, I have had a couple of absolute whoppers that even sent my dentist a bit green!).
