I need traffic ... sorry!

I need a meal/snack that I can carry with me or have easy access too that's high in protein and I can buy in bulk. Often my depression is very bad and cant face cooking or even prepping a meal. So in these circumstances I wouldn't eat but then my energy gets low etc (I'm getting help). What are your go to snacks/meals other than the usual shakes/bars that keep you full? Thank you.

Nuts, hardboiled eggs, cheese, jerky.

John West on The Go might be a good option. I take them if I’m going on long journeys for work and might not be passing somewhere that does anything decently filling without resorting to McDonald’s etc. they’ve usually got couscous/pasta/beans in.

I pressure cook whole brisket and ham etc then slice it for the fridge to grab a handful to snack on. If you then also buy pre-packed salad and things like cocktail beetroot, frozen avocado, tinned sweetcorn, pumpkin seeds etc you can quickly and easily make yourself a nutritious salad.

Tinned fish (mackerel, sardines, salmon) can also be eaten cold and straight from the tin if needs must, or added to a microwaveable rice pouch for a warm meal with barely two minute’s prep.

Thank you for the suggestions, I took them shopping 😄!
