It's my birthday today. My partner got me a present which he gave me early at the weekend, never gets me a card or anything but fair enough. I've been with him all day and he has not once wished me happy birthday - his mother wished me happy birthday and his response was "oh yeah that's today". AIBU to just want a simple "happy birthday"? Of course I appreciate the present but I feel so under appreciated and would be nice to have a little bit of fuss made.
