How do I, as group admin, delete a comment in a messenger group.

All I can fine online is how to delete Facebook group comments, this is messenger.

The only option clicking on it is 'remove for me'

Quite time sensitive so any help would be be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance

If it doesn’t say remove for everyone then I think you’ve left it too late

TheOccupier · 09/10/2023 09:28

Is it your comment or someone else's? When was it posted? After a certain timeframe you can't delete for everyone, only for yourself.

Ivebeentogeorgia · 09/10/2023 09:28

If you didn’t post it I don’t think you can delete it either

Is it your message?

BIWI · 09/10/2023 09:29

Can you ask the person who posted it to remove it?

TellerTuesday · 09/10/2023 09:30

Someone else's comment.

It's a class group but someone (has form) has gone off on a tangent about someone else's child and it's all kicking off 🙈

Yes, you can't delete someone else's message. Chaos would ensue wouldn't it!
