So nothing biblical.

For me today it was ASDA, 1pm on a Sunday, event going on nearby so huge amount of traffic to get in, even longer queues inside, screaming kids, adults barging by you, having to queue for customer service.

Anything else would include cave diving, pot holing or being on a submarine.

Discos/nightclubs - lights, noise, crowded, can't converse. Hated it.

Public transport, particularly buses.

Street markets - crowded, bustly, rummaging largely through tat and looking out for your purse.

Camping, insomnia or any situation where I need to sleep and can’t.

Dita73 · 09/10/2023 06:17

Having to attend a “hen do”

FormerlySpeckledyHen · 09/10/2023 06:18

A coach trip holiday being herded around.

A walk along a converted railway line path with every dog off it’s lead charging about.

Portaloos. Swimming pool changing rooms.

Charlattanus23 · 09/10/2023 06:24

Work Away Days. Pointless rubbish when I could actually be doing my job rather than having to listen to self congratulatory "managers" who couldn't run a bath.

Jbrown76 · 09/10/2023 06:26

Anywhere busy...packed, delayed trains... primark, asda, school run, shops, Manchester City center, Manchester Piccadilly, London Euston, I just cannot cope, just thinking about it makes me feel sick and panicky.

Oh and seeing people I used to go to school with, especially people who weren't nice...avoid!

Having to reverse down a narrow, windy road.

something spiritual focusing on chakras

Vocaladvocaat · 09/10/2023 06:44

Sorry didn’t see lighthearted tag.

A very full, sweaty bus in rush hour traffic after its been raining with a hobby person, several toddlers, teenagers play fighting and someone’s eating their takeout.

Vocaladvocaat · 09/10/2023 06:45

Gobby person not hobby

CoreopsisEverywhere · 09/10/2023 06:45

Theme parks
shopping centres
big group nights out

SilverGlitterBaubles · 09/10/2023 06:47

Christmas shopping in the weeks leading up to Christmas in hot busy shops playing awful music, plus endless talking about it 'have you done your Christmas shopping yet'. Grrrrrrr it just ruins Christmas.

Robinbuildsbears · 09/10/2023 06:48

Walking through miles and miles of new build housing estates, no people, no shops, no parks, no schools, no fields, just endless houses.

It's starting to feel that way near where I live.

ChocolateCakeOverspill · 09/10/2023 06:51

Another one for hen do, and to add day drinking / bottomless brunch.

HulaChick · 09/10/2023 06:51

Reading the news makes me think Hell is all around us; it's just the most depressing world at the moment.

AInightingale · 09/10/2023 06:54

A room of people where everyone has to speak and 'introduce themselves' one by one.

Funerals.
IKEA on a weekend.

Hooplahooping · 09/10/2023 07:01

Oh also, school reunions. What need in the age of social media?

SueDonnym · 09/10/2023 07:03

Social event lasting longer than 2 hours.

AInightingale · 09/10/2023 07:04

Anywhere where people are doing that horrible shrieking and whooping. Torment, Don't know when that started as a thing. Seems to have replaced applause.
