Selling/buying a home

I had a offer excepted 5 months ago.
I'm alone so all decisions are on me.

The couple purchasing from me are wanting to do something that isn't legally required and originally asked for me to pay for this.

I said no. I have said yes to multiple other costly requirements so have tried to meet them in the middle.

I'm now worried they're going to either pull out or try and lower the price.

Lowering isn't a option as I worked to a budget and have already paid 1k over on other things they/ their solicitor requested.

Am I being unreasonable to say this is the last thing to complete and I want to exchange by........
basically we are approaching the 6 months mortgage offer on some in the chain so I don't want it all to break as they are the last in the chain.

Why is moving so stressful!!!!

Hi @LouiG123
You have waited long enough. You're not unreasonable at all to now advise that the exchange needs to go ahead.
Totally agree, selling and buying a house is so stressful!
Hope everything gets completed soon!
