A question about Facebook blocking and unblocking.

If you block someone on FB is it right you are in control of the lifting and blocking again?

If so that means you can unblock and have a look at someone's profile anytime you like?
The person you've blocked wouldn't know and can't have a say?

It seems to much on the side of the person doing the blocking imo.

I don’t think it works like that. If you block someone it stops them from seeing you. I’ve never blocked someone!

Id like to know how to unblock! I blocked a relative years ago when we fell out, but we have made up now

There's a list of your blocked people somewhere and you unblock that way.

Usually the person blocking is being harassed.

I'm pretty sure if you unblock them you can't unblock for 24 hours.

And no if you block someone you can't see anything unless you unblock.

Why would they get a say? I have one person blocked, I unblock occasionally to make sure they're still a long way away from me and not causing any problems. Of course it's on my side to do this, it's my profile and I get to say who can see it.

Yes if they unblock you they can see your profile again, however they won’t be in your friend’s list so best thing to do is lock it down completely so nothing can be seen unless friends.

You go to your FB settings and hit unblock, but then you’d have to send them a friend request. Blocking also unfriends someone.

You can block someone and you both can't see each other's profile and then you wait a certain amount of time before you can block the again I can't remember how long but if they notice you unblock them then they can block you

Firstly, I think you can't re-block them for 48 hours.

Second, if you dislike them enough then why would you care what their profile said?

Thirdly, if you're not friends with them then if their profile is private you won't be able to see much and if it isn't private then just use an incognito tab perhaps??

You can still block someone who has blocked you. It works both ways. Didn’t used to as I recall, does now.

How?

To block them back, you go to the page where your blocked list is and search for their name. You then block their profile. It will show even if they’ve blocked you.
