Help. Can I use lamb chops?

Have defrosted lamb chops for dinner but on reading the label it says 'di not freeze'
They were in well sealed packaging and on defrosting look fine and have smell whatsoever.

Yabu ...of course you must follow the instructions on the label. They are for your own safety and you could make yourself ill. Throw in bin immediately.

Yanbu ...They have been in the freezer, look good and don't smell. Enjoy.

Thank you oh wise ones. I have no clue whatsoever.🤔

I am sure they will be fine, I would eat them.

Make sure that they are cooked through. I’d avoid serving them pink

They'll be fine, I'd eat them and serve them pink.

I am forever freezing things that the label says not to! Never been unwell from it, you may just have to adjust any cooking instructions if not 100% defrosted.

I am not sure

Labels say 'don't freeze' for various reasons. Sometimes it's because it's made with cream of similar & wont freeze well (but would be ok to eat).

In the case of meat, it's often because it was frozen previously & shouldn't be refrozen. In that case, it's less on ok to eat. I'm not overly cautious about these kind of things but unsure in this case
