Cooking cooked chicken slow cooker

I put left over roast chicken into curries but really busy this weekend so thinking of digging out the slow cooker.

Given that it cooks slowly though, is it safe to put roast chicken into to make a new dish??

Tried googling but just found recipes for roasting chicken in a slow cooker!

I think that would be fine but why would you want to cook it again for so long. Cook up the other ingredients and then throw the cooked chicken in to warm up at the end?
