Dora the Dragon at the BBC

Hi everyone
My friend Dora the Dragon had a busy weekend last weekend. They were at BBC Salford Quays and the surrounding area to protest about the non renewal (so far) of Shakespeare and Hathaway. They started off at the shopping centre walking around singing their Bring Back Shakespeare and Hathaway song!

This is Dora the Dragon on the bridge singing their song to the amusement of the runners on the bridge. One of them said that it had really brightened up their morning.

Go to BBC iPlayer you are in for a treat! Mark Benton and Jo Joyner are brilliant. Patrick Walshe McBride is superb as Sebastian. There are two fantastic characters in Keeler and Viola. And one of the best actors in the world Darren Evans plays Spider! The BBC are insane not to have given Spider his own spin off show!

Dora wanted to say this when standing next to the Gruffalo ' I am a Dragon as mean as can be and if you don't sign the petition I'll eat you for my tea.'
But the Mucky Mallard refused to let the Dragon say that so they sang their song instead!

It's never pointless to stand up and protest for what you believe in. And Dora thinks Shakespeare and Hathaway should return. They had a week off and instead of Shakespeare and Hathaway they got to watch game shows, boring sports programmes and something about animals. We pay our license fee for good programmes which have been cut drastically.

Daytime television show. Check out Shakespeare and Hathaway on BBC iPlayer. And then sign the petition to bring it back for the fifth series.
