The blunt truth here is that asking a bunch of strangers on an internet forum won’t get you the reassurance you’re seeking especially if you’ve already got health anxiety.

I work for the emergency services so the advice I’m giving is relevant as I deal with patients with lumps and chest pains (amongst many other medical problems) on an almost daily basis as part of my job working for the Ambulance Service. Lumps should always be checked. Most of the time they may be absolutely nothing to worry about however should always be checked when found. Don’t let stress or anxiety get the better of you - you’re stronger than you think. Get the ball rolling sooner rather than later with this one, start by calling 111. You’ll likely speak to a lovely health advisor who will run through some questions with you to get you the right level of care. Don’t wait for your GP to open tomorrow as there’s quicker ways to be referred to services - if you phone your own GP they’ll likely tell you there’s no appointments for weeks whereas if you go via 111 then they can refer you to GP out of hours amongst other services.

The longer you leave it the worse your anxiety will get which is unfair on you. Whilst it’s a big step seeking help, remember this is in your best interests - and if you get an all clear result that’s the best medicine your anxiety could ever ask for.

Best of luck.
