Is this stress?

For the past 3 weeks I've felt real weakness in my legs to the degree where I'm struggling to get up the stairs! My legs feel really wobbly and shaky, I just feel like all the strength has gone in them.

A couple of weeks ago I had strong flu symptoms.

The main concern is I suffer from extreme stress - I have ocd and the past few months my stress has been at its worst.

Are these likely to be due to stress? (The weak legs)

Thank you

Sorry forgot to add - I am quite unfit as I get very little exercise as I'm always working. However this has only been for the past year...

It certainly could be stress. It could also be some sort of post-viral fatigue or even a vitamin deficiency. I had this, well, more of a feeling of weakness in my legs and just feeling absolutely exhausted walking up stairs when I had a vitamin D deficiency.

i am same as mindutopia, I was the same with Vitamin D, B12 and Folic Acid deficient, would recommend getting booked in for a blood test.

Hope you are feeling better soon

This is exactly what I'm thinking if not stress! B12 and vitamin d.

I'm stupid as I have the vitamin d but don't take them 🤬🤬

More likely post flu

I would at least check in with the GP

Sounds like post viral fatigue. I had covid a month ago but still incredibly tired. I went for a 45 minute walk today and was shaking by the time I got home.

It's the complete weakness in my legs that's concerning me - I'm having to hold on to the spindles in the banister to pull myself up.

If I do self medicate with the vitamin d and b12 will that be ok?
