To rip the damn things out myself?

Lighthearted. I have an appointment to get rid of my wisdom teeth on the 11th, and ever since the appointment was booked, mine have taken offense to their impending removal.

I had 2 erupt fairly normally last year (painful but they’re not impacted) and as soon as I hung up the phone to the dentist office, my lower left one decided to pop up and say hello! Sideways! I’ve had awful neck aches and headaches since last week (thank god for ibuprofen & salt water rinses). My current favorite “child” is my lower right wisdom tooth, that’s still happily under my gum and seemingly not planning to move.

The lower left can shove it.

The wait is unbearable though and I can’t wait for the 11th to arrive. Tempted to just grab a pliers myself at some points.

AIBU to tell them they are well over 18 like I am and it’s time to sort themselves out?

Tie a bit of string around it and the other end to doorknob - then slam the door…

(obviously don’t do this!!)

Sympathy OP…toothache is such a uniquely nasty pain. Hope the date comes around fast!

I’ve always wondered if that really works? I’d need to be a few drinks in to try, I think 😂😂😂

Thanks! It’s such an awful pain, really impacts a lot of things (muscle pain, eating, etc). It’s no wonder people used to go mad with toothaches
