Job with very flexible work hours

To ask what job you can do flexibly as and when you are able around chronic illness.

This isn't really an AIBU but someone replied to a post in the disabled benefits thread to me yesterday about how she worked for an employer where many bank staff are hired to do jobs on a flexible basis (so the work just has to be done in a 2 week time frame at any point for example). I replied asking for more information but I fear my reply got lost in everyone arguing about pensions. So I am asking here in case she sees it or someone else has an idea.

I did ask universal credit about this but they were clueless.
Basically I would need a job that can be done from home completely flexibly with a deadline. So as this women said, the deadline is in 2 weeks and you can fit in the work as and when you can as long as the work is on in time, no set hours to do each week so for example you could do an hour in the morning and then if you were too ill you could do a few hours in the evening the following day.

What kind of job allows this and how do you get a job like that?

Thanks

Honestly not sure. Just be really careful you don't get sucked into any pyramid schemes (not be patronising but they often prey on people who are 'vulnerable').

Maybe setting up your own business or working freelance?
