Worried about covid

Hello, just wanted people's opinions and advice really. I also need some reassurance

So my SIL has just had covid. Her and her kids want to come see our 4 month old but I'm worried either shes still carrying covid/her kids are. I want to ask them to do a test but find it awkward to ask. Am I being OTT? I just struggle with it because my son was poorly when first born, bit traumatised from it all I think.

Cant switch my anxious brain off 😫

Just tell them to wait a week. It's fine. Who is the bigger arsehole - them for putting you and your baby at unnecessary risk or you for not wanting them to?

This is the reply I needed 😂 If I was in their position I'd keep away from everyone for a bit longer, I'm sure she tested positive this time last week 😳

So don't do it. Make up an excuse if you want, but for the record, you're not anxious, you're not OTT, you're just looking out for you and your little one. You're responsible for the two of you. Sorry to hear your baby was so poorly.
