Found this in an air bnb, it has a hook and was hanging on the wall.
We have no idea what it is or what functional purpose it has!
Can anyone help? We have been thinking about it for days!

Initially I thought a seat pad.

Folder up... is it a screen rest? Like for a Tabley?

Tonietastic · 30/09/2023 15:28

We did think that but what about the hole and tassle?

CacenCaws · 30/09/2023 15:28

Is that a hole or just a circle on it?

Squiblet · 30/09/2023 15:29

Life preserver for a badger

CacenCaws · 30/09/2023 15:29

What room was it in?

HowToSaveAWife · 30/09/2023 15:35

I'd assume a neck rest cushion. Fold it over, tie it and put it behind your neck on a sofa etc

Els1e · 30/09/2023 15:49

Is it a portable seat cushion for outdoor theatre? The tassel thing is to carry it or tie to your picnic hamper. 🤣

Tonietastic · 30/09/2023 17:51

It has a hole in it (on one side).
It was hanging up on a hook in the kitchen/dining area - next to the entrance which has a key hook near by.
It is sewn together so it is folded all of the time.

It’s a back and seat pad for taking to the cricket, or other event with not-comfy chairs. You use the tassel and hole to keep it folded while you transport it. If it’s been sewn together subsequently I expect they needed to make it into a booster cushion for a child or smaller person. I’ve used something similar for all-day play at cricket, and also at a converted church where concerts are held because the pews are very uncomfortable for 2 hours or more at a time!

We put it on a chair and it seems to narrow and small to be suitable to sit a toddler on!
