AIBU posting for traffic - what car??

Sorry all, posting for traffic, need help choosing a car. We currently have a Ford S-Max which we love but don't need one quite as big now as rarely need 7 seats and kids are older so not often with us. We do still need to have big boot for dog crate / camping gear / taking lots of stuff back to uni etc.

Wondering what you all have / would recommend? Our budget is probably less than £17k and we'd like something less than 5 years old with less thank 40k mileage (so probably ruling out luxury cars like BMWs / Range Rovers etc.).

So basically something big / reliable but not a 7 seater. Not a diesel.

Thank you!

Skoda Octavia estate. Huge boot for the dogs, roomy inside for passengers, and you will get one in that price range. If you like sporty cars the VRS model is fun

Posting for “traffic” haha v appropriate :-)

Why not just switch down to a c-max? We went up from cmax to galaxy as we wanted more space and the option of more seats, but liked both cars a lot and the cmax was great.

Volvo V90. We've not long bought one and it is ideal for that sort of use. 2.0 petrol.

We gave a t-roc. Dog goes in the boot. Enough room for four adults. Not sure you can put dog, camping gear and lots of adults in. Is t-cross bigger version?

Thanks all. Will take a look at all options.
