Aibu to cringe when middle management say this?

I work in a global company, my wage isn’t coming out of Mr Smiths NatWest current account each month.

What a CF. Raise it with HR, I'm sure that constitutes bullying.

Anyone who says that is a shit manager. Even if they did say it.

This is so an old fashioned attitude to have and the type who think that they should be addressed by their titles . I'm used to working in organisations which don't allow managers their own offices.

Cringe is not the response. Anger might be.

I’ve never heard of a manager saying this. It’s not a normal comment.
