To ask for advice re harassment from ex husband

Firstly, this isn't for me but for my cleaner who has asked me for help and I'm not sure where to start.

She and her husband are divorced within the last year; this was finalised in Poland as they're both Polish but she lives in England. The husband was living in Poland but, unbeknownst to her, returned to England recently.

Their shared daughters do not want any contact with the ex husband (they are 14 and 19). He is very angry about this.

He has turned up at their home, threatening them and shouting to the extent the police were called. He has also turned up at the younger daughter's school and is incessantly ringing both of their phones.

What, if anything, can be done? She doesn't have a lot of money so can't really engage legal advice but is there anywhere she could go for free advice? I've spent a while looking at this but can't seem to work out what's best so thought I'd turn to MN wisdom for some help.

Thank you.

She needs to speak to Women's aid and also the National Stalking helpline operated by the Suzy Lamplaugh trust.

It is a police matter, but these organisations can offer her support with reporting and getting it dealt with.

She can apply for a non-molestation order which will set out conditions prohibiting him from contacting her, it's free and she can apply online via the gov.uk website. If he breaks the order he will be arrested.
