A SPIDER JUST RAN ACROSS MY FACE!

AIBU - to move out right this second!

Fast asleep and felt a tickle on my face, subconsciously knew it was a Spider but brushed it off quickly, waking DH who insisted we shake the quilt out and look for the culprit.
No luck finding him so assumed he had crawled off elsewhere.
Lay back in bed, lights off, start falling asleep again, suddenly DH screams and leaps out of bed waving his arms about shouting "It's on your face! It's on your face!"
Spider had crawled over his arm and when he threw his arms up it had sent the Spider flying which then landed back on my face again!!
Lights on again, I start whacking my face where it eventually falls off
THE SIZE OF IT was beyond any Spider I had ever seen 😱 DH caught it (in a shoe box no less!) and sent it on its merry way in the back garden.
Not sure I can ever sleep again, this is his house now and we're merely Lodgers!

They are everywhere!! The house definitely belongs to the spider now, just pack up and leave. I think they are planning a world takeover haha

Never been spooked by Spiders before but when there's one clung on to your Cheek it's a whole different story!!

I want to cry on your behalf because that is traumatising 😭😭😭 if they have to invade our houses why can't they just stick to a corner at least! I had a massive one recently camp out inside the arm of my bath robe. You can imagine my horror when I felt a ticket and looked down my sleeve and saw that crawling around. Still won't put my bathrobe on :(

I don't know how I've avoided this for so long.
I have lavender sleep spray for my pillow. Might the smell be warding them off?

@LemonLight That's awful! Your dressing gown of all places!! 😱 @NoMoreCapsLock If that's the case I shall be dousing Myself and the entire house with it later, although I just know her will be back to join us for dinner and Netflix 😭
