To ask if anyone else has a horrible cold?

Iv been poorly for a week now with no end is sight.
my throat, nose and head is so painful. My lymph nodes under my jaw are really swollen to the point it hurts to open my mouth wide, and my jaw feels out of place abit. My whole head hurts. I’m starting to cough abit too :( I feel so poorly and oaknmillerd don’t seem to be touching it :(

iv taken a Covid test and it’s negative.

Yes but mine is Covid. Feels like my head is exploding every time I move, my ears are blocked and so painful I yelp when I have to blow my nose which is bloody constant. Someone just put me out of my misery 😩😩😩

I had to take a week off work in July with a horrible cold like this. Covid test was negative but it felt very much like when I had covid.

Covid. Both myself and DH had it and only tested positive very faintly for one day. I think the tests are less effective at picking up the new strains. What you’re describing is exactly what we had, symptom wise.

Me too - as well as my two teenagers. The worst cold ever - horrible and lingered for days - took more than two weeks for it to ultimately go. Nothing touched it except Boots own brand decongestant with paracetamol .

Heavy head; shallow, painful breathing; hacking cough; sore throat; high temperature; blocked nose.

It's horrible.

Yes all 3 of us in my household, my mum out of her household and 3 people off at work due to it

I have this too. Started on Monday evening and I have done 3 covid tests, all negative, but they are old ones. My colleague has tested positive for covid so now it’s got me wondering if the old tests don’t work anymore.

Me too! Plus morning sickness. I’m so gross - streaming with cold and vomiting in my child’s potty! Had the most delicious sleep earlier though.
