Is it safe to exercise on 1.5hours sleep?

Hey everyone.

I'm going through a lot and my sleep and body clocked are completely fucked. I didn't sleep all night, and eventually fell asleep at 12.30pm for half an hour, and at 1 for about an hour max.

I usually have a pole class followed by a stretch class, and I feel it would be good to go, but is it safe when I've barely slept?

Don't want to faint or hurt myself because I'm tired, I've never exercised or done much on such little sleep before

It would be good to exercise of some sort , for your mental health as you're going through a lot but it would also potentially help with your sleep. Could you have a word with the class teacher to explain, and they could keep an eye on you, recomend any adaptations so you're not over straining yourself when already tired from not sleeping well

If you did it every other day, it's probably going to have an effect on your health. But once isn't going to kill you.

You'll probably be OK but I wouldn't do anything very ambitious or that might result in you hitting your head if you fall.

I once did a strength training workout on very little sleep and fell over when doing a simple step up exercise with weights. The weight landed on my foot and I was out of action for months.

So be careful! Only you know how tired you feel, really.

I'd give the pole a miss but do the stretching.

It probably won’t do you any good on that little sleep. Can you go for a walk to get some daylight.
