Rash!

Hi all my baby has suddenly come up in a rash on Sunday evening after some vomiting and loose stools Saturday evening.

vomiting has stopped, loose stools only small but this rash keeps appearing? I’m waiting on a doctors appointment to be given to me… the rash seems to be faint sometimes and clearer when warmer? Any ideas? He doesn’t seem to be itching them they’ve appeared on his stomach and chest mainly now his cheek some on his right arm and both thighs

Common to have a rash post virus so it’s likely to be that. You’ve done the right thing to get in touch with the gp if you are concerned

The doctors seem to take forever to get you booked in😢 hopefully they’ll ring this afternoon. He’s fine within himself I’m just worrying about him! His optical lymphnode is swollen at the back of his head also, the rash reappears and disappears so slightly but with the glass test doesn’t disappear:-(

do you mean the occipital lymph node? It’s not uncommon to have raised lymph nodes with a virus. He’s well in himself, drinking weeing alert and interacting normally sounds very reassuring.
