Is this a blood clot?

I’ve started using the evra patch for the first time in my life. And dh has just seen this on my leg, I have a smaller one rojnd the front and I’ve read the patch can cause blood clots. I haven’t banged it or anything. What do you ladies think it is?

It looks more like a bruise. It would be worth sending a pic to your GP just to get it looked at.

Not medically qualified to comment but I have had a blood clot (after a flight) & there was no visible sign. Have you got a dull ache or cramp in your leg?

Hmmm, my only experience of blood clots was when my baby had one in his leg. The entire leg (clot was in his thigh, so from there down) kept turning a really livid purple and then fading, before colouring up again. It didn't look like your leg, I would say it looks more like burst blood vessels? I'd call 111 to be sure, you don't want to take the risk with clots! If you've got pressure socks, chuck
some on to be on the safe side xx

Apperently my whole leg is blotchy 🤷🏻‍♀️ ovbiously I can’t see but I have no idea what it is

Not even sure if this is possible but could you be having an allergic reaction to the patch ? Maybe the glue used on it ?

I had a blood clot in my leg after using the combined pill - I didn't really notice at first as one leg swelled and felt a bit warm. They were the only symptoms so not like your leg. But then it moved up to my lung and I definitely noticed then!! It looks like bruising but might be a reaction? Fingers crossed for nothing serious x
