Hey! I got some great product recommendations in the past here for other skin concerns and I hope some of you can help me with keratosis pilaris. On my arms and scalp. For many many years! Have been to doctors years ago but nothing was ever helpful so just gave up and left it as it was. My hair is thinning now and i loose way too much. I am ashamed of my arms…please help

A cream called Ameliorate is a good place to start.

I've also heard that omega 3 supplements can help.

I think you should also go back to your GP and be firm about your need for treatment and help.

For the scalp I would recommend the Philip Kingsley flaky itchy range. It's the only think which has helped me.

Yes ameliorate for arms - second that. Not sure about scalp.

Eucerin roughness relief (the cream not the lotion) , it is 10% urea and has glycolic acid, got rid of DD’s bumps and I use it my face because it’s exfoliating but moisturising at the same time.

Cerave sa body lotion and there's a body wash too. Salicylic acid.

Thank you all. I will check them all later today. I actually used ameliorate but didnt see the difference. Maybe you need to go through few bottles though

I second Cerave SA (salicylic acid) wash for rough skin. They do a moisturiser in the same range but I haven't needed it.

I agree with the recommendations for Cerave I found it so easy to use, not too pricey and it worked.
