Anyone else noticed that within a week or so the new "Thanks" button seems to have been adopted as an unofficial "Like" function?

No because you can't see or use it on the app

Yes but that’s what it was meant to be. It’s not a visible “like” though, which I think was the issue for putting a like function in, as mean comments can get a lot of “likes” making it look like those comments are the opinion of many people.

To counter, doesn't clapping usually mean agreement as opposed thanking them?
