DH got in from work this morning and brought with him some treats for the kids (age 2, 4 and 6)

A small tin of sour cream and chive pringles each and some sticky doughnuts, cinnamon etc.

They don't eat alot of sweets or crap in general so it's not a regular thing but within 5 minutes the room absolutely stank and still does. Sticky cinnamon hands mixed with sour cream and chive, said hands touching all of the soft furnishings (throws and the sofa). It's absolutely rank and I can still smell it now.

AIBU to be annoyed with him? Would you mind thus?

I'm also autistic and I get the sensory bit OP, I really do.

But you are being unreasonable. Your DH did a nice thing for your kids. Next time, just make them all wait a minute while you both clear the table.

^This and make them wash their hands and perhaps open a window, wash throw, put it on the line to air.
It is sensory overload thats making you feel like this but yabu for not appreciating your DH treating DC

Important question is

Did dh bring a doughnut for you ?

Why the hell did you let them eat it in your living room?
