AIBU to be a little spooked?

At work tonight, we could all hear strange noises, we saw shadows and lights were flashing on and off in an empty room, and then we saw this... thankfully I wasn't the only one!!

What is it? The blue bit?

Stains on a door and standard human reaction of making a face or pattern out of any random marks. Not an unreasonable reaction, but unreasonable to attribute it to anything else, let alone anything sinister.

Yeah the blue staining looks like a face but it’s just pattern seeking. Ordinary human phenomenon!

It is called pareidolia.

Just a reflection of light.....no face there (in fact, I'm glad you clarified we were supposed to see a face because at first I thought this was a spot the difference exercise)

I can see it but I can also see a face in the glass. Just pattern recognition by the brain.
