I was first aware of the phrase 'rock up' in 2006. I hate it.

Stephen Bear seems the type that might 'rock up'

Where do you stand on ‘rock and roll’? As in ‘ready to rock and roll’ or ‘let’s rock and roll’?

I had a colleague years ago who used this constantly for a brief period and I started saying it sarcastically. Ten years later and I don’t think I ever leave the house or an event with my DH without asking him if he’s ready to rock and roll, despite it being utterly ridiculous. I think I’m beyond help at this point.
