Woken up to these bites this morning. Just cleared a bed bug infestation so I’m hoping and praying these are just gnat bites! To make it an aibu, aibu to burn my house down if these are bedbug bites because then it
means we’ve wasted lots of money on pest control 😭 please someone tell me there just gnat bites!

Are they the same as the bites you got from bedbugs? If so, call the pest control people and tell them to come back and do their job properly. You paid them to clear the pests and they haven't, so get your money back and go elsewhere, or get them to do it right.

Try really really hard not to burn your house down.

To be honest I can’t remember! 😭 I’m hoping they’re just gnat bites. I slept in front room last night as my room got bug bombed so if it is bed bug bites they are now in the front room 😭

Weirdly I’ve woken up to loads of bites along the top of my back this morning! I have really bad reactions to mosquito bites so I think I must have a rogue one in the house. Could yours be the same?

Bed bugs literally get into all soft furnishings including clothing, sofas, rugs, carpets and curtains. Depending on the severity of the infestation. So unfortunately very very possible they are.

You can't reliably distinguish bedbug from mozzie from flea bites. I'm afraid if you've just had an infestation there is a reasonable likelihood it's bedbugs.

However when we had pest control in they promised to retreat for free if it was not successful. Are you sure yours doesn't offer this?

I just saw you were bug bombed really, really recently. Is it possible you were bitten before the treatment and the bites have taken a while to come up? I would maybe leave it a bit longer before you call it if it was only done yesterday

Bed bugs normally bite in a row of 3. Here's a pic of when my son was several years ago. Forgot to say we had 3 treatments. Done

Totally possibly that all the pest control “bomb” did is send the little fuckers into other parts of your house. Sorry. I’ve heard bad things about pest control who use insecticides etc as apparently there’s a lot of resistance now. My sympathies

It sounds like they only treated some rooms and not the whole house? I don't think that's how it works with bed bugs!

The more I looo at them the more I’m not sure there bed bug bites do you all think they do look like them? We’ve bought a steamer and I think we’re going to try now to eradicate them ourselves, failing that I’m burning my house down
