7 month old ill teething or a phase?

Struggling my 7 month old has not slept for 2 nights he’s also off his milk taking half of what he’s meant to be liking solids still?
I think he’s teething he has 2 bottom teeth but 2nd night now I’ve been awake since to husband has had to go to couch and I’ve brought baby in bed to see if it would over an hour to settle ended up giving calpol he wasn’t like this with the bottom 2 so I’m tempted to ring GP he’s also pulling at his ear a lot which is making me think maybe it’s sore. I dunno but me and my husband are fighting due to sleep deprivation just getting snappy and baby it’s not settling!
Just needed to get it off my chest.

Mine is 1 now and still like this whenever she’s getting a tooth. she often also gets a fever so for the first day it’s impossible to tell if it’s teething or illness. Spoke to doc and now when she’s like this we alternate calpol then neurofen every 4 hours. That helps pain so she sleeps more, but we also do half the night each so we both get some sleep. I sleep undisturbed 9-130 then we swap rooms so I deal with all wake ups after that

Well the teeth coming through could be causing some earache or he could have an ear infection or it could be both. You've got no way of knowing if he's got an ear infection without seeing a GP so I'd book an appointment.
