Is it possible to raise 2 children with under 2 years ago gap without family support

I have an under 2 year old DC and people are suggesting it's the best age gap to have children. We don't have any extended family who can support us. DH and I think it's impossible to bring up two under 3s without losing our sanity and without any help. Having one DC did put us under lot of stress, PND and lots of arguments causing rift in the early stage of DC's baby days. We want to stick to one child but friends keep suggesting. AIBU?

@Possiblisit If you actually want a second child and it's a question of timing, I think for me the biggest consideration would be whether I could afford to pay two lots of childcare fees at once. If you can't, you need to wait at least until your oldest is at school or getting the 30 free hours. If you can afford the childcare and you are working full time, in my experience having two is not massively harder than having one, and I expect a lot of things to be easier later on if they are close in age than if they were further apart.

Don't have a second child because other people think it's a good idea. That is a rubbish reason.

We have a slightly bigger gap between dc2&3. It's possible, we've managed as do plenty of others. But I wouldn't recommend it. It's all consuming and relentless. If you do go for a smallish age gap I'd really recommend prioritizing outsourcing as much as possible - cleaning, cooking, babysitting. Take as much help as is offered or you can afford.

We did it, loads of people do it. It can be exhausting at times with no support, but it's far from impossible.
