Maybe it’s just menopausal me who has no interest in sex currently, but even when younger, although I enjoyed it at times, it’s often all about men. I fancied men and imagined kissing them etc and being in love with them, but didn’t necessarily think about sex-maybe that’s weird and just me?
Just imagine the world could be a better place, men would be so much kinder, no rape/sexual assault, no pedophiles (sp) no more horrible porn on the internet

I just think it's so unfair the way the bodies are designed, men can hide their with clothes. Because the way men's bodies are, clothes can completely hide a penis.

Due to the womens bodies are, It's very hard to completely hide big breasts.

And my breasts make me sexualised in every environment I walk into. People state at them, people talk to them.

I feel like In sexualised all the time. And I can't feel safe.

If you'd asked me under the age of 35 I'd have said, no, it's great. Now at 42 I'm not remotely interested and rather annoyed I wasted so much time chasing it back then! It is a major distraction. Would love to know if any correlation between very high achievers and sex drive.

Oh god no. Sex is one of life's greatest pleasures. Like everything else in life, there are people who make life worse for everyone but that's no reason to get rid of something that brings a lot of joy and enjoyment to billions.

Men can hide their penises in clothes. I have big boobs. No matter what I wear , you can see my big boobs. Which makes me sexualised. The only thing that really hides them is if I wear a big padded coat, the ones that look like a duvet on. I can't wear that in summer.

Mixed feelings on this one; it isn't so much sex per se that is the problem, as some people's (mostly men's) obsession with it, thinking only with their penises and developing fetishes, paraphilias and pathological desires.

I wonder this too.

I spent my late teens and early twenties being led by my sex drive and the idea of romance. I am sure I would have achieved more career wise and education wise if I had zero interest in it all.

But I do think men sexualise women and half their brain are controlled by sex

@Shoxfordian Yes definitely years ago, recent years-zero interest and actually disturbed by the focus on it in life, the worrying porn on the internet, the abuse, child abusers..just all of it is awful. If it wasn’t needed for procreation, would it be worth it?
I’m just imagining how different things would be..especially with men, how different they’d be, without that drive, maybe it would be a relief to them too 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes, I agree, and at the same time we could do away with religion.
The world would be so much more peaceful.
I think nearly all crime, wars, homicide and terrorism have either sex or religion as their root cause.

I would agree and the potential consequences could be so much wider:

If you remove men’s sexual desires, would physical attractiveness suddenly become irrelevant? Would people start valuing/ loving other people based on their character and not image? Would women’s age become irrelevant when it comes to how attractive they are to the opposite sex? Would women then stop spending money and time on beauty treatments/ Botox etc just to stay attractive for as long as possible ? Would our workplace value be based on our skillset and experience and not attractiveness?
but then would people still get married and form monogamous relationships for life based on friendship/ love only? Would affairs not happen ?
