I don't think he is thick, I think he is cunning and manipulative. I also think he is not as intelligent as he thinks he is if that makes any sense. He certainly reckons the general public are thick and easily bemused by a torrent of long words.

Then I watched his tictoc. At no point did he sexually assault anyone when he was in the present, on the screen. The past is the past. We cannot change that, but in the time Brand was on camera, explaining stuff about Jesus and Buddha, he wasn't raping anybody.

If you think about it, he may not have assaulted or threatened a woman for a while now. All that was the past. It's important to be present, in the now. And he might not rape anyone in the future.

I imagine that he has confessed the alleged crimes to his Sponsor and that his amends was to donate to womens charities. Unfortunately, life is not a 12 step programme. Misdemeanours do not go away because you make an inventory of them then confess to your sponsor and make amends. They linger until they are brought to trial and you are locked up.

I remember reading a chapter on 'how to start your own religion' in a book (same author as The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F). Sounded pretty easy as long as you have the audience. And he had the audience because of the 'establishment' I.e. mainstream media that he now preaches against.

Watching him urinate on the pavement while on camera at the beginning of the Dispatchers programme made me question the people who decided this is the 'talent' they are going to give a platform to. They should, imo, take some responsibility for giving this messed up person such a large audience.

Re starting your own religion, see my earlier posts re some of DM’s hippy 60s/70s friends who went to India found a guru and practised some weird yoga/meditation thing often involving giving the guru money or visiting him a few times a year.

The man who started Bikram Hot Yoga was convicted or accused of rape by several of his yogi followers wasn’t he?

There are other similarities as well. RB is a vegetarian and wears a man-bun like Buddha. And he is being literally crucified by the media, just like Jesus was back in Roman times.
