I'm sorry but I need to say it somewhere!! I work with vulnerable people and needed to make a safeguarding referral.
I have spent ALL DAY on and off making phone calls and being passed from pillar to post then waiting for calls, checking emails etc and making sure I have correct information when imo it should just be one simple call (I'm very low down the chain, supposedly we call safeguard person and it's taken from there) but I've had "professionals" acting like I'm a nuisance, telling me to be careful as if I'll get myself in trouble somehow?! and even suggesting I shouldn't be doing it until I'm back at work as I'm not there today, as if safeguarding can wait?!
I'm so annoyed and disappointed.
I just want to get this person some help, it shouldn't be so hard and well, weird!!
