Ever since I had my second baby I've really not felt myself and have been especially down about how I look - I just don't feel beautiful any more, at all. Does anyone else ever feel like this? I feel guilty because it seems like such a small thing, but it's weighing me down. I suppose I just want to feel like I'm not the only one and maybe get some tips about how to feel more myself. There's just no time to spend even doing the tiniest thing to help me relax and feel good - what do other people do?

I am up and down on how I look... sometimes I'm ok others I hate it. I'm not one for the gym (if I had time) but I have recently started skipping (signed up for 100 skips in oct so needed to practice) I only last 5-10 mins with stops but I feel happy when I do it and I can feel it working muscles that I don't normally feel... but for me the important bit is I'm reliving my youth and actually laugh out loud

I have felt similar since my second child Op. I know for a fact I’ve aged tonnes since becoming a mum of two! I made a conscious decision to get back into exercise (although it took me a while, I didn’t do it regularly til DC2 was 18m). But that’s because it was a big part of my life before having kids. I don’t think it has to be exercise but if there’s something you did a lot before becoming a mum, try to carve out time for it again as I think it can help in finding the old “me”. It’s hard though and please don’t feel you’re alone in how you feel - I think it’s very common x

Would also add, try to treat yourself in ways that don’t incur time - so online shopping for nice creams, make up, new clothes. I find little perks like that even more of a treat now than I used to!

My hair always freshly coloured (at home out a box btw) makes me feel better I don't even need make up on or to have brushed it can throw it up and have leggings and a t-shirt on but I always feel better than when I have roots or faded colour. I don't look in the mirror at my body, I barely have time to physically wash my face but I'm on baby no3 now and all 3 have sen, one severe tube fed etc so I spend 60% of the day just on everyone else's basic care needs alone, 38% on the house, dog, playtime, cooking and prep for the next day and 2% on stuff I need to do, I've now cracked it to deodorant, teeth brushed and freshly died hair makes me look less hagged 😆
