EasyJet flights

Booked flights a while ago for a trip which we had to move and pay about £350 to do so but due to unforeseen money issues we cannot afford to take the trip.

I have two options move them again to next year paying another £350 or lose the entire flight booking which is at £1200 with the flights and the change of date I already paid out for.

things are very unpredictable at the moment I’m not sure whether to walk away from the whole booking and lose the money or fork out for a change .

not easyJet’s fault completely us. No way around to get a refund of a credit to account

what would you do

Are you sure you can't claim on your travel insurance? If its cancellation due to prolonged illness etc that would be the way to go.

On balance I’d pay to change again.

No options to cancel no illness no family bereavement so it’s pay again the charges or completely loose the money we paid . Initially £900 plus £350 for changes and it would be the same charges again

If you can't afford to take the trip I would just eat the loss on the flights.

I can't see how much different things would be in a matter of months to suddenly afford it, plus it will be £350 more with the change.

Can you give the tickets to someone else for a nominal amount? Or ring Eastjet and plead?

Justdontforgethelegofrog · 19/09/2023 09:00

I'd ring easyjet and plead. They've been very nice to me before.

There is a Facebook site where you can try to sell flights and holidays which can't be used Holidays for sale/cancellations. You could try to sell through that.
