Spitting on the bus

Witnessed school age teen coming up to the top deck today and spat on the floor of the bus once up. I had to pick my jaw up off the floor.

AIBU To think this has to be a whole other level of disrespect and surely can’t be what all teens are like these days?

Honestly I know that pushing boundaries and being a bit rowdy with peers is part and parcel of being a teenager but who honestly thinks that’s acceptable in anyway ?

I'd have told him it was disgusting. I'd also email the school. Foul.

Spitting in public is absolutely disgusting. I recently witness a road rage incident where a motorcyclist drove over the pavement to spit into the open window of a car he'd just had a disagreement with. Revolting.

I probably would have if I didn’t have 2 small children with me.

Speaking of a mum of a teenager, no they are not all like that. I would go mad if any of my children did that. I absolutely hate spitting it’s disgusting. I watch my teenager play football every weekend and he doesn’t even spit then even though a lot of the other boys are.
