To think my boss is pulling a fast one...

Hoping someone can help me with this..

I have just handed my notice in at my hospitality job - have been there since mid February, no contract, irregular hours - do anything between 25 and 50 hours a week - paid weekly.

Discussing my final pay, my boss tells me my remaining 6 hours accrued holiday will be added on.

I haven't received a single payslip since I started - despite asking - but from my HMRC app, I can see I've worked 990 hours since starting. I've already used 60 hours in july, but surely I should have accrued more than 66 hours??

@Badbadbunny thank you, I've tried to use that but it's not very accurate for irregular hours

So you've been there 7 months - 32 weeks? Depends on exact start and end dates and how many days a week you work

As an example - Worked 990 hours plus 60 hours holiday taken - 1,050 hours in 32 weeks - which would be the equivalent of around 6.5 hours a day 5 days a week

Minimum holiday is 28 days holiday including bank holidays - so for 32 weeks - 17.25 days * average 6.5 hours a day = 112.13 hours

Take off the 60 hours you have already taken

Like I say, just a rough calculation, but there is not enough information to work it out properly

@PickledPurplePickle thank you for replying.

I started on 14th February and my end date will be 20th September.

The 990 will include the 60 hours holiday I think- like I said, I don't have payslips for reference, just had to work it out based on the taxable income amounts on my HMRC app
