… eat salmon that’s one day out of date? Just finishing making salmon fish cakes and noticed that the use by date was yesterday. They smell alright … and I’m hungry… AIBU - don’t eat. AINBU - eat!

Eat!

FannyBawz · 16/09/2023 18:18

Eat then

if it’s foamy or fishy or soft then ditch 🤮

TheLightSideOfTheMoon · 16/09/2023 18:18

I’d eat them.

Food doesn’t know what the date is.

Startrekkeruniverse · 16/09/2023 18:18

One day out? I’d 100% eat them. Good doesn’t magically go off as the clock strikes midnight. Enjoy :)

Yes but I love salmon😁

Fish is not shy at telling you when it's going bad (shellfish can sometimes be more sneaky...)

SisterMichaelsHabit · 16/09/2023 18:20

I wouldn't with animal products, personally.

Bluedoor11 · 16/09/2023 18:20

I may need to add…. I had pretty bad food poisoning years ago because of salmon…. Sorry for the drip feed! 😁

I'd definitely eat them, you'd have known if it was off

Bluedoor11 · 16/09/2023 19:10

OK it is me, DH and DC eating together. I’ve made something else for my DC just in case…. Me and DH are going for it! Wish us luck …

Do it!

Bluedoor11 · 16/09/2023 21:53

The deed is done, and so far so good! Still time though…
