To ask how many photos you have in your camera roll?

I'm at nearly 10k

What?! 10,000 photos nearly - some will be screenshots but what the hell!

48,000 going back to 2013. I use my phone to take photos for work around 30 per day and I don’t always get round to deleting them so they tend to build up until I have a massive delete session and delete several thousand in one go!

3,000 from last 5 years. I delete regularly, and put them in albums (on iPhone). Ones from before that are on a memory stick, I don't know how to get them on iCloud with all the newer ones.

It does annoy me that there is no way of seeing in 'All Photos' which photos haven't been put in an album. I'd like them all neatly classified.

23266 and 1448 videos

5786 photos and 376 videos. I thought that was loads but having seen what others have I feel much better!

83k plus 2k videos - mostly of my kids. Stored on iCloud.

I never have more than 250. When I reach that amount I print them all off and put them into albums.

This post has made me have another photo purge! I'm at circa 4k which is completely unnecessary.

Too many- and am interested in err to put them- doesn't seem an easy solution.

I regularly delete a couple of hundred at a time though, as I take a lot of screenshots and save pics from websites that I don’t need to keep

Interesting on the carbon and data storage. I'm going to spend the afternoon clearing some thousands emails, I'm terrible for that. I am in the middle of a big photo sort out, but that's a bigger job!

That's going back to 2004 Photos before then were physical in photo albums

19,321 - I do use it for photos for work but usually take them off fairly quickly, so could be worse
Have to take some tomorrow for a project so that will be an extra 150 odd

That's just the ones stored on my phone, there are more on our server & my pc.
Mine aren't stored on the cloud but are regularly backed up at home.

Yeah I'm on android so you can go into your files and make folders and transfer them from your phone memory to memory card. Since I had my children I have a folder for every month which all the photos go I'm.

Well I thought I had loads at 701 but after seeing the amounts on this thread it's pathetic 😂

I had a clear out the other day too because it felt like too many. 699 of them are probably of my dog/previous dogs.

Do you all pay Apple for icloud storage? Am I going to be paying £3.99 each month for storage until I die? I don't get what I should do with my photos (apart from delete some and make photo books!)

and agree we should all reduce because of the carbon footprint - the big data servers storing all our photos are very environmentally unfriendly!
