AIBU??
Been with DP for 16 years, and 2 fab DS together. Also have an older DD from previous relationship.
Currently studying, running round after 2 DS and DD has announced she is pregnant. So, alot going on.
Feel very little support from DP, or AIBU?
My day is jam packed of school runs, full time work (WFH), I do all shopping, washing, most cleaning, 99% of cooking and everything to do with DS homework/admin/ appointments etc
DP also works full time, but works slightly earlier so he can take DS to football 2 nights a week, which is great.
he does most vacuuming, most ironing (although we only really iron uniforms!!đŸ™ˆ), a bit of cleaning on a sat if he can be bothered, and majority of gardening, mainly mowing. He will cook once in a blue moon.
he does love his Xbox, which has increased somewhat this year, after youngest DD and him got into a game… which was actually nice to see.
He comes home for lunch each day, makes his own lunch - I get no offer!! And he has one whole hour peace…. Luckily him! But, he works hard, so deserves the break. But what really annoys me is that everyday after work he has to go to the bathroom for at least 1 hour! It’s now creeping up to 2 hours. Today he was upstairs nearly 3 hours… watching tv too I think.
What annoys me is that he is spending no time with the family, and no offer of helping with any tea…leaving me to juggle everything, and just expecting tea to be almost done when he comes down.
I have had enough, and said if it carries in there will be no dinner for him.
I have tried bringing it up, but he flies off the handle, shouts and tells me I am being childish… am I? Or AIBU??
