It's been nearly a month of back-and-forth with my SIM provider regarding an incorrect data allowance on my SIM card. Despite their assurances to fix it, nothing has been done. This has left me unable to fully use my phone, especially during my daily one-hour commute when I need data to check bus and train schedules. After waiting for two to three weeks, I escalated the issue to my bank because attempts to resolve it with customer service were met with rudeness. Now, they're unhappy that I initiated a chargeback through my bank, claiming I should have gone through them, but I had already tried. They refuse to take responsibility, attributing it to a technical problem rather than their mistake. To make matters worse, they've now locked my phone and won't address the issue with another bundle I activated for 30 days but got to use only for a day. I'm extremely frustrated with this situation.

You were right to do the chargeback. I’d look for a new sim provider. If your phone is fairly new look into eSims. You don’t have to agree a contract and wait for an actual SIM chip to be posted to you.
