To not know how to stop being stressed out constantly?

I'm so stressed and I don't know why, I thought it was my old job so I left there 4 months ago and my body is still stressed out and rundown. I keep clenching my teeth together day and night, which makes me wake up with blinding headaches. My eyelids keep twitching. I get stress hives on my chest very frequently. I have developed eczema for the first time in my life, too.

I'm on anxiety medication, my lifestyle is very stripped back and easygoing. I try to make as much accommodations for myself as possible to reduce stress. I've been eating healthy, going for daily walks and getting 8 hours of sleep a night. I journal, and spend time just sitting in silence/with my thoughts. I spend time with pets and family and out in nature. I'm not sure what else there is I can do.

I'm sorry you're feeling like this. My immediate thoughts were gin, sex, and therapy (ideally not all at the same time)! 💐

Is it that youre stressing out about trying not to be stressed iyswim. are you putting too much pressure to relax yourself thereby making it stressful?

I lost a tooth from clenching. Tip: when you feel the urge, stick your tongue out. Stops you clenching and saves your teeth.

Therapy. You need to talk over the past and find the cause

What are your thoughts? Is it stress about the day ahead, things that need to be done etc. or is it future stuff, like how will I afford a bigger house or raise teenaged or something? Or all of the above?

just trying to get a sense of what sort of stressful things are circling for you.

Counselling, acupuncture, cold water swimming! And for me, trying to relax doesn’t work. I have to physically tire myself out, hence the swimming and also big walks
