So I went on long term leave, unfortunately at the same time my husband was dismissed from the same company. Neither of us were removed from the company WhatsApp group but all of a sudden there were no messages being sent on there- obviously they created a new one and didn’t tell me or add me.
Fast forward a couple of years and I’ve been back in work now for a while for the same company. I assumed when I came back they would add me back into the WhatsApp group- they haven’t. To make things worse they talk about it in front of me and have since added a new member who joined the company after I returned to work. They use this group to arrange lunch plans at work and days/ nights out etc.
I thought several of these group members were close friends. Recently I asked them about when they were going to add me back and they made up some excuses and a couple of jokes. I’ve still not been added to this group.
I feel really hurt and isolated by this AIBU?
