I joined this site recently, thinking it might be a friendly place to chat to other mums, but how wrong I was- I feel like I'm talking to a brick wall. All my posts are totally ignored. Do newbies not warrant any acknowledgement?

I'm a bona fide thread killer me.... just watch what happens now. i've been here a year, and quite often get ignored, or the piss taken out of me. There are some very loud voices on mn, and some very clever ones too. Pick your arguments carefully.

Enjoy.

trouble is, its instinctive to post on a " am I being ignored thread" hopefully it'll die tonight.

Yes, it's irresistable!
Personally I think MN should stick a sign on the gates, something like 'Abandon Ego, all ye who enter here'
