So..
I bought a clothing item from ebay.

Anyway .. pictures looked fine but when it arrived it was damaged. All the faux leather is cracked all over . It could not be worn at all. Like it's really badly cracked and flaked off.
I don't know if this could have been damaged inside the bag it was sent in. Maybe the excessive heat has damaged it sweating in a bag? I just wanted to know how to approach the seller regarding this as I've never had to complain about an ebay item.
Could they file for damages with courier ? Is this the kinda thing you can file for with courier? I feel disappointed to just have thrown money down the drain

Message them and include photos. Say the item isn't as described and ask for a refund. If they don't reply, open a case against them. eBay will find for you.

eBay always find in favour of the buyer, open a return and if the buyer doesn't accept it after so many days you can ask eBay to step in. Show them photos of the damage and they will force a refund even if the seller doesn't provide return information.
